Sci-Fi action movie WE ARE MONSTERS is now seeking
equity partners
Are you classed as a 'high net worth individual'? Do you have a
significant tax bill that you would like to reduce?

Movie Mogul
Ltd are now raising equity finance through their HMRC approved,
Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) -
Recondite Films Ltd. Investing a minimum of £25,000 (1 Unit) in WE ARE
MONSTERS offers the following benefits:
• 30% EIS tax relief to UK investors
• First recoupment position from Company Net Receipts on the
movie, plus a further 50% share of Company Net Receipts
thereafter
Investing £100,000 and above in WE ARE
MONSTERS offers the above benefits plus:
• EXECUTIVE PRODUCER status on the movie
Please do not hesitate to get in touch should you require an
investment pack
THANK YOU
Movie
Mogul
EIS Information
30% tax credit on any investment between £25,000 and £1,000,000.
Therefore £60,000 invested in our EIS means £18,000 credit against
your tax bill (there must be a tax liability at least equal to the
credit claimed).
The investment must be kept intact for 3 years and 4 months, after
which all gains are free of all taxes regardless of the profits
with no ceiling.
The investment can be used to defer capital gains tax on a
realised gain invested into the film. This also means that if you
have paid capital gains tax in the last 3 years, and maybe paid 40%
tax on it, the realised gain can be invested into the EIS and any
tax paid claimed back, which can then be used in conjunction with
the 30% on investment.
The investment also takes that amount invested out of the scope of
inheritance tax after 2 years, which is attractive to those looking
to minimise their overall estate`s exposure to tax, whilst
retaining control of their investments.
The investment is made directly into shares of Recondite Films Ltd
and the initial investment remains at 100%, even though the net
cost to the investor is only 70%. No fees or commissions are
charged.
In the event of losses, then that loss, less the credit already
received, can be offset against any other income.
Investors should seek advice from their own professional advisers
as to the suitability of the investment and their entitlement to
tax relief. HMRC publish relevant information on their website.
http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/eis/
A PDF of HMRC's guidance on EIS - An Introduction to the
Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) - can be downloaded from their
website.
The content of this promotion has not been approved by an
authorised person within the meaning of the Financial
Services and Markets Act 2000. Reliance on this
promotion for the purpose of engaging in any investment activity
may expose an individual, company or other entity to a
significant risk of losing all property or other assets
invested.

Here's 10 top tips on breaking into the film industry
#breakintofilm
1. Offer something over asking for something with all approaches -
Simple trading rules apply
2. Listen to advice, even if you don't like it
3. Never send scripts / materials in to a company unless by
request
4. Keep intro emails short and concise - no more than 2 paras
5. Stick to facts on CV's. Bullet point experience. Avoid the
irrelevant, paper rounds etc.
6. Do not take offence if you don't receive a response to a spec
CV. People are busy
7. Meeting people face to face is important, get out there and
mingle!
8. Work to your strengths and plug your weaknesses with the
strengths of others
9. Never stalk a producer, director or employer. They'll remember
you for the wrong reasons
10. Make things happen for yourself, don't ever wait for
permission

The Kickstarter page for our sci-fi action horror WE ARE
MONSTERS went live today
http://kck.st/U6OHV5.
Encouragingly we raised over £1k in pledges within the first hour!
If we kept up that pace, we'd reach our ambitious £100k target in
just days!
We're very excited over here, things are going crazy on Twitter
@WeAremonstersUK thanks to our man in the hotseat - Justin Tagg and
his way with words. We're even getting a few likes on ye old
Facebook now too, which is very encouraging https://www.facebook.com/wearemonstersmovie
please give us a click or two if you like the look of what we're
doing, everything helps, and there are many ways in which you can
get involved if such is your thing.
Our campaign runs for 60 days and ends on Friday 15th February
at 12pm. For those of you not familiar, Kickstarter is an all or
nothing platform. If we don't reach £100k by 15th Feb... then we
leave with nothing. Sounds like a gameshow, doesn't it? Only this
isn't a game... it's very serious in fact. Gulp. Please help us!
Did I give you the link? Here it is again... just in case http://kck.st/U6OHV5

It's going to be an incredible film, the script is top notch, as
is the talent we have attached. Watch this very exciting story
unfold over the next 59 days.
Synopsis: Lorna Thompson, a lonely suburban
schoolgirl, joins a mutant gang of teenagers on a quest to discover
their true identities. They uncover a global conspiracy, which they
must find the strength to fight before civilization is
destroyed.
Thanks for your support

Are you a creative, talented person, overflowing with ideas?
Movie Mogul are looking for new collaborators to help conceive,
develop, write and produce micro-budget feature films with - could
this be you?
If you can leave your existing scripts at the door and keep an
open mind… you are hard working, determined, non-precious and
prepared to embark upon what could potentially be a very long and
creative journey up ahead - with no up-front pay… then we would
like to hear from you!
The reward? Become the fully credited co-writer of an original
feature film screenplay, with the potential of entering into a
joint venture with us.
If you fit the above criteria, then please send us a letter
explaining why, to -
info@moviemogulfilms.com with the word Intern in
your title.
We will then request a writing sample. DO NOT send us any
scripts at this stage - they will NOT BE READ and you will fall at
the first hurdle in doing so!
We look forward to hearing from you.

Always keen to keep an eye on the changing digital landscape and
dip our toes in chilly, shark-infested waters, we at MM decided to
have a stab in the world of self-publishing, with Frazer
Lee's movie novelisation of Panic Button.
In February this year we took a little punt (one of many!) and
launched the Panic Button novel on Amazon as an exclusive digital
download for Kindle.
Utilising various free download days, but keeping the novel a
snip at 99p the rest of the time, we are somewhat amazed to be able
to report that almost 30,000 units have now been downloaded since
Feb 2012.
At its prime, the novel has resided at No1 in the overall (free)
download charts and No1 in Horror and Thriller (paid) charts,
whilst gaining significant top ten traction in the overall paid
chart too.
This has undoubtedly effected DVD sales and word of mouth for
the film, and has been a real eye opening experience for us to say
the least. We love you Amazon, and we'll be back with more - just
wait and see! Anybody not familiar with the novel can check it out here.
Just goes to show that sometimes it pays to get wet!

Well it's been almost a year since our last blog update, that's
crap we know, but mainly because we've been so involved in
Panic Button and its sales and
promotion that we've migrated to other platforms and been having
fun running competitions and building the story universe. We're
more often found over at: All2gethr.com, Facebook, Twitter, and
@AlligatorKiller seems to enjoy consuming our time
too.
We intend to do more this year with Welsh Producers Network and
get some regular meetings and events going.
We have three new films in development, all of which are
exciting us greatly.
Psycological thiller 'Quickfire' - is currently
being penned by writer Helen Adkins
Comedy 'Forgers Of The North' - is currently
being written by comedy genius Rob Sprackling
And teenage monster movie 'Recondites' is being
written and packaged in house
We'll also be looking at some quicker turnaround micro budget
genre flicks in coming months. A busy and exciting time for sure!
In truth we dont know which project will receive the greenlight
first, so we're just enjoying the ride for now.
We will endeavour to share more news, more often, new year's
resolution, promise!
If you haven't seen Panic Button yet, you can
pick it up on Amazon or iTunes, simples
Thanks for reading
